Rob was born in Perth. He is accredited at the majority of Perth’s private hospitals. He is involved
with teaching of nurses, medical students, anaesthesia trainees and anaesthesia fellows. He
participates in the Continuing Professional Development program of the Australian and New
Zealand College of Anaesthetists.

Rob has wide interests. He has a wonderful and supportive family. He has travelled frequently to
Christmas Island to provide anaesthesia services. He has been a Board member of the Autism
Association of WA for more than 20 years and is the current chair of the Autism Association. He plays social tennis and does not walk or cycle as much as he should.
