Health Fund Agreements

  • Dr Robert Storer‘s Health Fund Agreement

    Dr. Storer has a no gap agreement with all private health funds that means the anaesthesia fees for the procedure will be fully covered by the health fund rebate.

    Provided:

    • the surgery is covered
    • the member has top hospital health cover
    • the member is not in the waiting period
    • the injury was not pre-existing at the time the member joined the fund

    Uninsured patients are those who are not covered for their anaesthesia costs. These patients will be required to pay in full the costs of the anaesthesia prior to the day of surgery.

    An uninsured patient is one who:

    • has no Australian medicare (this includes reciprocal medicare cover)
    • does not have private health cover or has inadequate level of cover
    • has overseas health insurance
    • is having cosmetic surgery

    Should you have any queries about your health insurance or rebates please contact your health fund and supply them with Dr. Storer’s provider number (0377488B).

    If you do not know your exact procedure ring your surgeon and ask them for their MBS item numbers for the procedure. This enables your fund to advise you correctly.

  • Dr Paul Hng‘s Health Fund Agreement

    Dr. Hng has a no gap agreement with HBF and NIB that means the anaesthesia fees for the procedure will be fully covered by the health fund rebate.

    Provided:

    • the surgery is covered
    • the member has top hospital health cover
    • the member is not in the waiting period
    • the injury was not pre-existing at the time the member joined the fund

    Dr. Hng may charge a gap with the other funds.

    This is your out of pocket expense (your gap) and is not covered by medicare or your fund. You are responsible for this gap invoice.

    Should you have any queries about your health insurance or rebates please contact your health fund and supply them with Dr. Hng’s provider number (0260574Y).
